What are Esselings?

Enemies in Infinity Nikki

Esseling Enemies

Esselings are the term for overworld enemies in Infinity Nikki. These creatures are themed after clothing pieces and crafts, and will attack and damage Nikki.

Story Esseling Bosses

There are also boss Esselings that Nikki can encounter during pivotal moments of the main story. These bosses have unique attack patterns and more HP than usual enemies, presenting a tougher challenge.

Bosses can also appear in the Warp Spire Realm Challenges. The Realm of the Dark has Bouldy as its trial, while players can challenge the Realm of Breakthrough once a week to defeat Wish Master: Chigda for rewards.

How to Beat Esselings

Purify with Orbs

Purifying Enemies

Nikki can defeat Esselings with her purification powers, which come from her Winds of Purity Outfit. Use her attacks to launch orbs that will knock out most enemies in one hit

Combat Guide: How to Fight

Use Plunging Attack

Nikki can also use a plunging attack when she is in the air, which is effective to defeat multiple enemies at once with its area-of-effect burst on the ground.

Upgrade Attacks in Heart of Infinity

Combat Insight Nodes

Nikki's attacks can be improved by upgrading combat-related nodes in the Heart of Infinity skill tree. You can unlock these nodes with Combat Insight, Whimstars, and some Bling.

These nodes will unlock Whim Fragrances that can modify how Nikki's attacks behave. These fragrances can change her orb's area of effect, give her the ability to charge her orb, and more.
