How to Get Bedrock Crystals
Defeat Bouldy in Realm of the Dark
You can get Bedrock Crystals as a reward from Phantom Trial: Bouldy challenges in the Realm of the Dark, which is a type of Realm Challenge. In this challenge, you need to defeat Bouldy, which is a boss that appeared in Chapter 2.
Each successful attempt on these challenges will use up 40 Vital Energy, so you will only be able to farm for this item as long as you have energy.
Furthermore, this item is not obtainable anywhere else, and is only available as a guaranteed boss drop.
How to Unlock Realm of the Dark
You can unlock Realm of the Dark after completing the Secret Ledger quest during The Lost Wishes main muest in Chapter 2.
After completing this quest, Tokar will message you to confirm that the Realm of the Dark is now accessible from any Warp Spire in the overworld.
Beating Bouldy
To beat Bouldy, you only need to dodge its attacks, wait for its weak spots to show up, and use Purification with the Wind of Purity outfit on the weak spot to damage the boss.
Remember to keep some distance from the enemy to make it easier to telegraph its moves and dodge accordingly. As Bouldy's HP goes down, it will start to throw out more attacks before revealing its weakness.
How to Use Bedrock Crystals
Use to Craft Outfits and Clothing Pieces
Bedrock Crystals are mainly used to make certain Outfits and Clothing Pieces in the Sketches menu.
If you have some Vital Energy to spare and have nothing to use it for, you can occasionally do Realm of the Dark runs and stock up on some Bedrock Crystals.

There are five different Bedrock Crystals that you can get in Phantom Trial: Bouldy challenges. Each type of Bedrock Crystal can only be obtained in its respective challenge.
For example, if you need to get a Bedrock Crystal: Command, you need to complete a Phantom Trial: Bouldy (Command) run.
Do note that you will also get 400 Mira EXP as a reward whenever you complete a challenge.
