All Whim Fragrances and How to Unlock

How to Unlock Whim Fragrances
Complete the Purify! Scent in the Cavern Side Quest
Whim Fragrances are unlocked after crafting Traveler's Musings during the Purify! Scent in the Cavern quest. This can be started by speaking to Eremita between the Dream Warehouse and the city. He can be seen sweeping the path halfway towards the Warehouse.

Whim Fragrance Mission Requirements
After clearing Purify! Scent in the Cavern, several Find Fragrance quests will start whenever you go into certain caverns. Each quest leads to a growth material required to unlock a Whim Fragrance sketch in the Heart of Infinity.

Body Spray Whim Fragrances modifies the charged effect of Purifying Orbs. It can add effects such as a homing or piercing feature when equipped.

Hair Oil Whim Fragrances can change the properties of Purifying Orbs. It can allow Nikki to shoot streams of Orbs, change the orbs to arcs to hit multiple enemies, and more.
Hand Powder Whim Fragrance

Hand Powder Whim Fragrances grant miscellaneous buffs when performing Purification. These buffs grant quality of life upgrades when fighting, and does not directly impact Nikki's ability to purify enemies.

Unlock in Heart of Infinity
From the Heart of Infinity, unlock the corresponding Whim Fragrance node to acquire its sketch. Unlocking the node requires the sketch's respective growth material in addition to 1 Whimstar and Bling.
The node can be unlocked regardless of progression in the Heart of Infinity. As long as the material is in the inventory, the Whim Fragrance sketch can be acquired even if the previous node has not been activated yet.
Craft Whim Fragrance Sketch
After acquiring the sketch in Heart of Infinity, head to the Crafting Menu and select the Whim Fragrance tab. Gather the required crafting materials and Bling to create the Whim Fragrance.
The crafting materials often feature drops from enemies, in addition to Thread of Purity and Bling. Be ready to roam the world and defeat enemies when trying to craft a Whim Fragrance!
Equip Whim Fragrance in the Wardrobe
After crafting the sketch, open the Wardrobe and head to the Whim Fragrance tab. Nikki can equip a hair oil, a body spray, and a hand powder that can alter her abilities when purifying enemies.
Note that this tab is hidden until the first Whim Fragrance has been acquired!

Whim Fragrances are special equippable items that can upgrade Nikki's Purifying Orbs. It can provide special properties in combat such as shooting homing orbs, launching a barrage of projectiles, and more!
