The Heart of Infinity acts as a skill tree that lets you unlock various abilities, stat boosts, outfits, and sketches at the cost of Whimstars in Infinity Nikki. Find out what the Heart of Infinity does and see which abilities are best to unlock first!
List of Contents
To use the Heart of Infinity, players must first collect Whimstars and other materials such as Blings and Insights. You can find Whimstars by searching hidden areas, completing challenges, or finding them during quests.
Momo, Nikki’s companion, can assist in locating Whimstars with his sensory abilities. Some require specific abilities to access, adding depth to the exploration.
Opening the Heart of Infinity menu will allow players to allocate Whimstars and Insights to unlock nodes on the interface.
This process involves strategic decisions, as certain skills or outfits may be more beneficial depending on the player's immediate goals, such as solving puzzles or completing quests.
To unlock abilities and progress in the Heart of Infinity skill tree, you must follow a sequential path.
Slots in the tree cannot be skipped, meaning that if you wish to unlock an ability at the end of a branch, you must first unlock every preceding ability along that path.
There are also nodes that are locked behind story progression, and require players to complete the Main Quests to unlock them.
The Heart of Infinity mainly grants sketches for Ability Outfits, which are special clothes that grant Nikki new gameplay abilities to help her explore Miraland.
These outfits not only provide cosmetic appeal but can also grant abilities required for exploration, such as fishing, bug-catching, or platforming abilities like floating mid-air.
List of All Abilities and Related Outfits | |
---|---|
Collection | No Outfit Required After being upgraded, this lets Nikki collect Essence when picking up high-rarity plants. |
Floating | Bubbly Voyage Allows Nikki to float briefly in mid-air when making a jump. |
Purification | Wind of Purity Grants Nikki combat abilities to purify enemies. |
Animal-Grooming | Bye-Bye Dust Lets Nikki brush animals and get their respective crafting materials. |
Bug-Catching | Afternoon Shine Allows Nikki to catch insects that can be used for crafting. |
Fishing | Rippling Serenity Lets Nikki catch fish from bodies of water. |
Electrician | Fully Charged Allows Nikki to solve wire puzzles and do electric repairs. |
Floral Gliding | Floral Memory While floating, Nikki can use this ability to glide through longer distances. |
The Heart of Infinity operates like a skill tree, where players spend collected Whimstars and other necessary materials to unlock and upgrade specific abilities.
These upgrades enhance Nikki’s outfits with ability boosts, such as stat increases and ability upgrades.
To unlock further nodes for an ability, players will require the Insight of that specific ability. As seen above, upgrading the Animal Grooming Ability requires Animal Grooming Insight.
How to Get Insight and What to Do With Them
The best way to get Insights is through the Realm of Nourishment. Trade with the Fufus using items and Vital Energy to obtain significant amounts of Insight without having to perform the Ability for them.
Prioritize progressing the story to unlock Ability Outfits like the Bubble Voyage, which allows for better mobility, and the Wind of Purity, which neutralizes threats. These abilities significantly enhance Nikki’s capacity to explore the environment and complete objectives.
Progressing the story further will unlock the Bye-Bye Dust, Afternoon Shine, and Rippling Serenity outfits. They are invaluable outfits as they grant the ability to gather materials needed for crafting and progression, ensuring a steady supply of resources while expanding gameplay options.
