You can get the Faerie Flute near the open bath in Kol. This village is located in the northeast part of the map, and you'll just need to examine the glowing spot near the bath to get it.

The Faerie Flute can be used to put the Golem to sleep. This makes the boss fight a lot easier since they can't retaliate as long as you you're using this item to prevent them from acting.

How to Beat Golem

Used at the Shrine of Rain

Besides being useful for the Golem boss fight, it is also a required item for the events at the Shrine of Rain. Without it, you cannot progress the main story.
