Headgear is a type of equipment worn on the Hero's head, and includes various hats, helmets, and head protectors found in the game. Headgear is a secondary source of Defence, which reduces incoming damage alongside the Resilience stat.

Some headgear equipment pieces also include special effects, such as the Mad Cap, which reduces the MP cost of spells.
