Survival Instinct

Valerie's ability, Survival Instinct causes all of the nearby traps to be marked and seen by all of the Survivors, making them easier to destroy without having to worry about triggering them.

Destroying Traps

When you are destroying traps. Be sure to use a ranged weapon instead of a melee weapon to avoid accidentally triggering the trap.

Try using Caltrops near areas where you have Creature Cards or use them on narrow spaces to guarantee that your Caltrops will hit passing Survivors.

Defending Key Locations

Using Caltrops on key locations will guarantee that the Survivors will approach your traps. Place your Caltrops beside Key Items or Objectives to deal damage to unsuspecting survivors.
