Use long-range weapons

Survival Instinct

Valerie's ability, Survival Instinct causes all of the nearby traps to be marked and seen by all of the Survivors, making them easier to destroy without having to worry about triggering them.

Destroying Traps

When you are destroying traps. Be sure to use a ranged weapon instead of a melee weapon to avoid accidentally triggering the trap.

Support with Creature Cards
Place on rooms with lots of doors

Supporting Creature Cards

Once triggered, use Creature Cards to deal damage on trapped Survivors to increase its efficiency and to shave off a few seconds of the Survivor's remaining time.

Proper Trap Placement

Place on locations that are hard for the survivors to notice. It is recommended that you place traps under a Crawling Zombie to make it impossible for the Survivors to see at first glance.
