All Quests Explained
Exchange Materials for Upgrades
Quests are tasks that usually require you to submit materials in order to unlock new features or upgrades. However, some quests may require you to complete challenges instead.
Character quests allow you to upgrade the respective character's basic attacks, increase their hearts, or learn new skills. It's highly recommended to complete character quests for the characters that you use often.
Other quests usually lead to new features including services being added onto your map of Hyrule, improvements to your battle party or inventory, or upgrades to your camp.
Does Not Involve Battles
Quests only require you to obtain and submit the listed requirements. You do not need to engage in battle when completing quests, unlike Challenges.
Once you successfully submit the requirements, the quest will be marked as complete.

Honestly, the game has been out more than long enough for this to have been updated and actually completed. Instead, it's half empty with several missing quests and even more only partially full. Completely unhelpful.
