You can play as Calamo after clearing The Howling Tempests in Chapter 2. After you have completed the battle, Calamo can be added to your party.

Dazzlefruit Charge	40	Slice at a dazzlefruit in mid-air, causing it to burst and unleash a binding light directly in front of you.

Sync Strikes

As Controlled Character	Press X repeatedly to throw a variety of fruit. Use L-stick to aim the fruit.
As Partner Character	Calamo selects three fruits to hurl, then strikes them all with his sword. Use L-stick to change the direction in which he hurls the fruit. Select different fruit by pressing A, B, X, or Y.

Unique Sync Strikes

Mysterious Construct	While the Mysterious Construct flies up, using L-stick to move around, Calamo throws a variety of fruit from atop his bud's back.
