Farm Materials by replaying battles, getting the Materials Sensor, exchanging Bonus Vouchers, and by using Camp Effects in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Read on for material farming tips, how to get more materials, and the best ways to farm materials here!

You can replay battles and challenges even after completing them! Just go to the same level and Start the scenario once again to retry. You can gain materials repeatedly this way!

To make things faster, use your strongest characters available when farming, particularly ones with strong sweeping attacks against mobs, as this makes farming faster and you can collect more mats in time.
Best Characters Tier List

Before you start farming for Materials, you should first unlock the Materials Sensor by doing Chapter 2: The Howling Tempests and completing A Brand New Feature! Quest, requiring 5 Hylian Tomatoes and 10 Little Frox Trophies.
The Materials Sensor can then be accessed from the map screen by pressing the Plus (+) Button and going to the materials menu. Note that this feature will be crucial towards getting more materials faster by influencing the map and shops in-game.

Put the materials you want tracked on the Materials Sensor. You want your most-sought priority materials to be put in the sensor because they will be tracked in the map.

Look for specific Green Material Circles in the map, as these map blips show materials you have tracked. These will appear around challenges, battles, and shops.
This makes farming faster as you will be able to quickly locate which map blips contain materials you want to farm, so don't forget to use this!

You can also use the Aside Quest Sensor by going to the Aside Quest screen and putting several Aside Quests to be tracked with their relevant material. This will also aid in making your materials farming faster on a similar degree to the Material Sensor, allowing you to quickly find materials in the world to get.

Bonus Exchange allows you to get one-time bonuses that can be bought via Bonus Vouchers. You can buy the Increased Material Drop Chances card for 2 vouchers.
| Recommended Loadouts for Materials Farming | |
|---|---|
Palm Fruit x4 -or- Stamella Shroom x4 |
Fresh Milk x1 -or- Bird Egg x1 |
You can also increase material drops by going to a Camp and focus on a Supply Loadout that boosts your chance of extra material drops.
Change your Support Camp Effect—the middle, red one with the handshake icon—to be Chance of Extra Material in Material Drops, then supply the camp with materials such as Bird Eggs or Palm Fruit to boost your farming speed by producing more materials.

To get the Chance of Extra Material in Material Drops modifier, you must finish Mineru's Aside Quest where you have to supply 1 Muddle Bud to camp.

Once you have all of these set up, we advise you to farm middle to late-game stages with multiple camps and outposts when farming materials. Larger combat levels provide more rewards unlocked at the end of their runs.

Unlocked by doing the My Prized Treasure sidequest, the Tusk & Talon Shop found at certain Camps, allowing you to get materials using the Poes you farmed. Buy your important or rare materials here, as some of them are only available in this shop.
Note that this service appears in Supply Depots after compleing the Breaking into a New Market Quest, allowing you to access it off-camp.

Remember to have your Materials and Quest Sensors track specific materials that you need to have them appear in Tusk & Talon, allowing you to buy these materials, making collection easier. Note that this isn't fully guaranteed and not all items may appear in the shop.
| Supply Depots | Unlock Requirement |
|---|---|
| Kopekki Supply Depot | Finish Chapter 3: Lanayru Defiled Battle Quest. |
| Lanayru Supply Depot | Finish Too Nervous to Serve Quest. |
| Goronbi Supply Depot | Finish Sweltering Soldiers Quest. |
| Gerudo Supply Depot | Finish The Source of Strength Quest. |
| Firly Supply Depot | Finish A Use for Bomb Flowers Quest. |
After finishing Chapter 3: Lanayru Defiled, the game opens up with its Supply Depots, allowing you to buy resources and materials at the cost of rupees. We recommend unlocking these shops early as they will allow you to get materials faster!
Complete Walkthrough and Chapters List
Remember that shops will refresh and reset after completing any run on any stage. Take account of this when buying materials so you can immediately buy the necessary ones.
