Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment - How to Give Orders
You can give orders to command characters to move from the Allies tab in the pause menu of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Learn more about how to give out orders to your characters here!

How to Give Orders to Move Units

  1. Pause the Game Using Plus Button
  2. Select the Allies Tab on the Menu
  3. Choose Destination on the Map

Pause the Game By Pressing the Plus Button

You will first need to pause the game by pressing the Plus Button on your controller. This will enable you to access and view the multiple tabs on your menu.

Select the Allies Tab on the Menu

Directive Orders

Select the Allies tab, then choose whether you want to Order a single character on the map or Order All members on your party to your designated location of your choosing.

You can unlock the feature to give orders to your characters by progressing Where Ancient Wisdom Sleeps Quest during Chapter 1 of the main storyline.

Choose Destination on the Map

Map Selection

Once you've selected a directive, choose the destination of your characters on the map. A target icon will appear on the map to showcase where you want your characters to proceed.

When Multiple Objectives Are on the Map

Many Objectives

It is recommended that you give out orders to characters in your party when multiple objectives are appearing on the map.

You can order each character to head towards a single objective, then switch between as you complete the objectives in succession.
