The TIme Bomb is the best Zonai Device to use in Age of Imprisonment, due to its very fast throw rate, being almost instatenous, allowing you to stun lock and break the enemies Weak-Point Gauge extremely quick, then recharge your batteries for another valley.
This is great against Dangerous Enemies in particular, as they can be focused on with the bomb throw and be stunned easily.
The Elemental Emitters are your next best option for Zonai Devices, all of them sharing equal effectiveness as they counter an enemy's elemental type if used against them. They can be deployed into an individual turret, alowing for autonomous passive damage.
They provide great damage and can aid in breaking down the Weak-Point Gauge of the enemy faster than your normal attacks. They do have a disadvantage in that they burn through batteries quickly, so be aware of this!
The Hydrant is the next good Zonai Device option, as it synergizes with the Frost Emitter, allowing you to freeze targets when both gadgets are used. It can be deployed like a turret or handheld, increasing flexibility.
The main use of this device however, is to clear Sludges and expose hiding enemies underneath it, while also dealing damage to them, making this a very flexible tool to use.
You can find hidden Koroks when you clear sludges in the map by using the Hydrant! Aim at a Sludge and unleash the hydrant on it to reveal the Korok!

You can eqiup up to two Zonai Devices, one on the ZR Key and the other on the lower section of your quick inventory, allowing you to use at least two of these devices at the same time.

Using Zonai Devices will deplete your Energy Gauge. When your Energy Gauge is fully depleted, its color will change from green to red and it will begin to recharge automatically. To recharge it instantly, use a battery.
