Replay challenges and sell items to get more Rupees in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. Read on for Rupee farming tips, the best methods to farm Rupees, and where to spend your Rupees here!
List of Contents

You can redo challenges to get Rupees! Use your strongest characters to quickly finish these and farm rupees faster. You can get around 150-300 rupees each for the Stage Bonus, maximizing KOs, and a fast clear time whenever you complete a challenge.
Do note that changing difficulty settings does not affect the rewards you get for clearing and farming stages. Set your difficulty to Easy to make your farming process faster!
| Zonaite Steel (Without Seals) |
Sell Price |
|---|---|
| Zonaite Steel (One-Handed) | 100 |
| Zonaite Steel (Two-Handed) | 100 |
| Zonaite Steel (Spear) | 100 |
| Zonaite Steel (Bow) | 100 |
| Zonaite Steel (Pristine) | 100 |
You can sell your unwanted Zonaite Steel for 100 Rupees for those without seals. The ones with seals sell for more with varied prices, but the seal with increased sell value is the best one to sell. Go to the Weapons Research Base on the map and head to the Sell section to properly sell these items.
Zonaite Steel is dropped by enemies in stages and can show up in treasure boxes around the map. Make sure to look around corners in stages to find them!

Make sure to double-check the quality of the Zonaite Steel you need to sell, as you may accidentally sell ones that you need later. You can read the effects it has by looking at the lower right of the weapons upgrade menu.

Should you have extra materials you want removed, you can have them sold in Supply Depots and Shops to gain some Rupees. Do note that the income you get will vary depending on the material being sold.
Whether you sell materials or not will be at your own discretion, as you may need these later on depending on your game progress.

Make sure to double-check the material to be sold first before confirming, as this may be consequential later on if you sold rare materials accidentally.
We recommend selling common monster parts that have more than 100 counts in your inventory, Wood, since these are easy to find in the overworld, and extra camp materials that may vary depending on your progress.

You can use Rupees to buy necessary materials you need in Supply Depots dotted around Hyrule's Map and unlocked after completing their respective service quests. Just head to one of these depots and buy the shops's materials!
Note that Supply Depots reset their inventory after finishing a Battle Quest, so they won't be gone forever!

Rupees are also used when upgrading weapons at the Weapons Research Base alongside Zonaite Steel. The upgrades you do the weapon and the Zonaite Steel used will influence the amount of Rupees needed for the upgrade.

You can also upgreade your characters at Tabantha's Training Camp to catch-up with your highest-level character. However, we recommend only using this service as a last resort due to the high material and rupee cost.
