I know this is a very late reply, but you may have noticed by now that different quality of weapons have different ranges of damage. For the highest possible damage, you’ll want to farm levels under the effect of a Blood Moon. During those stages, even lower quality weapons can have higher damage output than their higher tier weapons that have their lower damage ranges.
Sooga is playable along with Purah and robbie.

To unlock Sooga, in the “yiga clans retreat, after the yiga blade master shuts the gate, wait til the hollows appear. Don’t fight them, instead run back to the gate and the yiga will open it. After you beat the hollows you will have to deal with the blights. Sooga should be playable from there.

Teba's "press x quickly" attacks all count as midair attacks. His falcon bow gives a midair attack damage boost seal at level 25. It gives another starburst shape seal at 30, so for the +20 attack you'll stack 2 midair attack seals and 2 other seals of choice. I'm using him to farm weapons so I have increase weapon quality, could easily use attack speed or the like.
So a major problem I have with this guide is the specific choice of weapons for link. If you look at their guide for all of links weapon choices there are a lot of problems. Why does the Ancient Battle Axe++ have half the damage of the + version and still less damage than the base version. Why are all his weapons listed as savage Lynel weapons when I can clearly see 3 weapons that you all have listed for each type that do more damage. If you don't have accurate damage numbers don't post them.
Mipha's hidden seals for the Lightscale Trident (lvl 30) are: Special-Attack Charge Rate++: +10% ~ 11% Chance of Landing Shockwave: (+10%) ~ 11% ~ 12% Both square shaped.
The problem are some hidden seals (as they can't be removed). For example, Zelda's Bow of Light have Resistance to All Status Effects (square) and Heal a Percentage of Damage Dealt (hexagon) as hidden seals, if you want the full +20 or at least +15 damage bonus for seal matching, you'll have to match seals with the same shape: +20 = 4 - 2 +15 = 2 - 2 - 2 Something different than that and you end up with only +10 bonus damage. And the best damage seals are star shaped, so it's a no no.
