|---|---|
| 1 | Head north and you will find out that the bridge was blocked by the Yiga. Defeat both Yiga Blademasters to clear the path for the Guardian. |
| 2 | ![]() Capture the outpost to the north and activate the simple furnace to open another path. |
| 3 | Proceed to the bridge and take out another Yiga Blademaster. |
| 4 | Split up and move your characters to the marked locations to activate four more simple furnaces. |
| 5 | Enter the Akkala Citadel and fight Sooga. He will move to another room after you take away a certain portion of his health. Search the outposts of the citadel to find him. |
| 6 | The last time you'll encounter Sooga is at the top of the citadel, accompanied by a Yiga Blademaster. Defeat them both to finish the battle. |

Do not use the lock on feature during this battle so you can see both of their attacks. Keep the two within your sight and dodge their attacks accordingly.
This will also let you see the rune prompts which can turn the tide of the battle if done correctly.
Take out the Yiga Blademaster first as he has less health and will just drag the battle. Focus on depleting his weak-point gauge then execute him with a Weak-Point Smash.

Story Walkthrough: List of Chapters
Hm, according to the chest detector I’ve found all but #5 of 7 chests here. I’ve found all the ones this guide lists, plus one that it’s missing. (Which I vaguely recall might have been on the courtyard platform that you reach through the citadel?) I’ve played through the level twice more and failed to find the last chest, though. Frustrating.

Aha, found it. If you go out the east side of the NW outpost, then turn left, there’s a stone chest tucked into a corner behind the northeast corner of that outpost.
