|---|---|
| 1 | Find the Goron Captains and help them defeat the Moblins. |
| 2 | Split up and capture the 3 outposts marked on your map. Fire enemies are weak to ice. |
| 3 | Head to the northernmost part of the map and defeat the Igneo Talus. |
| 4 | Proceed to Death Mountain and defeat the Fire Moblins. |
| 5 | Climb the Death Mountain and defeat another Igneo Talus. |
| 6 | ![]() Blast the enemies along the way while you go down the mountain with Vah Rudania. Rudania's counter only works on giant boulders thrown by Igneo Taluses. |
| 7 | Erase the last of the Igneo Taluses to finish the battle. |

Most of the enemies in this battle are weak to ice. Using the Ice Rod will freeze them and shatter their weak-point gauge, making it easier to deplete.

The Igneo Talus' body slam and rock throw are considered melee attacks, which means timing your dodge perfectly may let you perform a flurry rush.

The ore deposit on top of the Talus is its weak-point. Wait until it performs a body slam before you smash the ore deposit.
You can also ride the Talus while it's down to attack the deposit but doing so will burn you and take damage over time.
Since the Igneo Talus is a fire enemy, you can cripple it with your Ice Rod to weaken its weak-point gauge. Wait until the ore deposit is exposed to maximize each Ice Rod use.
