Selling the items and materials you collect from battles is a consistent way to collect rupees in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. This guide will help you identify what items to sell and the best places to sell your items.
There are plenty of different material and ingredient drops you gain from defeating enemies. Since some items are required to complete several quests, the best items to sell would be those that you can easily and safely farm repeatedly. As a good rule of thumb, try to keep at least 50 of an item in case you'll need it for a quest.
Feel free to check out the individual pages of each material to see what quests they are used for. This can help to make sure you don't accidentally sell an item that might be needed for later quests. Each material page will also have farming guides in case you don't have enough for your quests.
As you play through the game, you will be able to unlock different stables. Different stables will have merchants cycle through them who you can buy and sell from.
Most merchants have preferred items they will buy from you at up to 2.5x the regular price. To maximize profits, always take advantage of this bonus and sell your spoils to the appropriate merchant.
Merchant | Bonus |
---|---|
Dayfah | Buys Ores at an increased price. |
Monda | Buys Creatures at an increased price. |
Bena | Buys Seasonings at an increased price. |
Segimo | Buys Monster Parts at an increased price. |
Cheria | Buys Guardian Parts at an increased price. |
Ettu | Buys Meat at an increased price. |
Rhodo | Doesn't offer any increased bonuses. |
It is totally random as to which merchant visits each stable. Merchants always come after clearing a battle, so if you want to make a certain merchant show up, just clear a simple battle.
For all of these farming guides, we recommend cooking dishes that have increased Material Drop Rates, and using weapons that have circle seals related to farming.

Don't forget to track the materials you are farming on your Sheikah Slate if you are using the Sensor-Registered Material Drop Rate seal.
