| 1 | ![]() Capture the 5 outposts of Calamity Ganon's first line of defense. |
| 2 | Defeat the 6 Guardians advancing on the field. |
| 3 | ![]() A Malice wall will appear around Hyrule Castle. Destroy the 3 Malice monsters to take down the wall. |
| 4 | Move Zelda to the center of the map so she can disrupt the barrier. |
| 5 | ![]() Okay, from the top. Defeat the 6 revived monsters near Hyrule Castle. Just as you're about to finish off the last enemy, the Blood Moon will revive the monsters once again. Defeat them all for the last time. |
| 6 | ![]() Head further to the north and defeat the Malice Lynel to finish the battle. |

Taluses will be spawned during the battle as key enemies. Although intimidating, they're actually the easiest to deal with.
If you don't want to use your Elemental Rods against their elemental weakness, you can just use the Remote Bomb rune to destroy both their arms and bring them down to their tiny rock feet.
Doing this will also expose their ore deposits (weak-points) where you can hit them with midair or wide attacks.

| View All Counters This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types. |
