How to Get Staff of Rain
Obtained From the Sage at the Shrine of Rain

The Staff of Rain can be acquired from the Sage of Rain, who is located on the first floor of the Shrine of Rain. You will need to progress through the storyline of that area, defeat the boss, and finish the cutscene to obtain the staff.
How to Use Staff of Rain

| Mark of Erdrick | Acquired as a drop from defeating the boss at the Shrine of the Spirit | |
The Staff of Rain is one of the items needed to acquire the Rainbow Drop at the Sanctum. Once you've acquired the Sunstone, Staff of Rain, and Mark of Erdrick, you will be given the Rainbow Drop from the sage that resides at the Sanctum.
The Rainbow Drop will allow you access to the final dungeon of the game, which is the Dragonlord's Castle. This item is pivotal in finishing the main story of the game.

Ability to Seal Spells From Enemies
When used as an item in battle, the Staff of Rain has the unique effect of sealing spells from a single group of enemies. This essentially makes it a better version of Fizzle, and you can use it even if you're Fizzled yourself!
