Talk to Gotter standing by the cooking pot at the Riverside Stable to start the quest.

There are two recipe books in the library. One is for a Fruitcake found in the center of the first floor. The other one is a recipe for a Monster Cake found on the second floor, near the gaps. |

Choose either of the cake recipes you found on the Library and make one in a cooking pot. |

You can only obtain Monster Extracts for the Monster Cake by purchasing them from Kilton for 9 Mon each.

| 5 | Talk to Gotter | Give Gotter the cake you made to receive a Silver Rupee and complete the quest. |

Gotter will give you a Silver Rupee as thanks for bringing him one of the cakes.
You only need to give him either a Fruitcake or a Monster Cake to complete the quest but if you give him the other cake, you'll receive another Silver Rupee.
