Photo Studio allows you to send your screenshots and edit them from Zelda Notes in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW) Switch 2 Edition. See how to use Photo Studio to create QR Codes in this guide.

How to Send Camera Rune Photos to Photo Studio

Send Photos from the In-Game Album

Open the Album menu from Breath of the Wild and press the left thumbstick to activate Selection Mode.

Choose the photos that you want to send to Zelda Notes and press the X Button to send. Wait for the game to confirm that the photos have been added to Zelda Notes.

Both photos taken from the Camera Rune and screenshots taken from the capture button can be sent over to Zelda Notes.

How to Send Screenshots to Photo Studio

Import Screenshot via the Nintendo Switch App

To send a screenshot to Zelda Notes' Photo Studio, you need to import it from the Album in the Nintendo Switch home menu to the Nintendo Switch app. See the following steps to import the screenshot.

  1. Click the album icon on the home menu.
  2. Press the A Button to select a screenshot from Breath of the Wild.
  3. Select Upload to Smart Device.
  4. Select the user profile and press the Upload button to start uploading to the Nintendo Switch app.

Tap the Icon on the Lower-Right Corner

Import Screenshot

Once you have the screenshot on the Nintendo Switch app, go to Zelda Notes' Photo Studio. Tap the icon on the lower-right corner of the Photo Studio screen.

Select the screenshots that you have imported and tap the Import Images button. Tap Return to Photo Studio to go back to that screen or the Import Additional Images button if you have more screenshots you wish to import.

How to Edit Photos in Photo Studio

Tap a Photo and Select Edit Button

Edit Photos

Tap the Photo Studio icon in Zelda Notes to see the photos that you have sent from Breath of the Wild. You can share, save the image on your phone, or delete it from here.

To decorate your photo, tap the Edit button. This allows you to change the aspect ratio and add title logos, icons, QR Codes of your Item Box, and Frames.
