1	Go to the Xbox official site and click the Sign In button on the top-right corner of the website. This will lead you to the sign in page.
2	Create an account by clicking on the Create one! hyperlink to start the process. Follow the instructions to make your account and that's it!

Linking Steam Account with Xbox Live

1	When you start the game for the first time, you will be given the option to Sign In to Xbox Live. Click the Sign In button and enter account details.
2	Once you sign in, you will be shown the following prompt. Clicking Let's Play will open the Steam Overlay browser to confirm account linking. Be sure that the correct accounts are logged in before linking!

Using a Microsoft account will grant access to crossplay between all other platforms, allowing you to add friends outside of PSN. On the PS5, you will have access to both your Xbox and PSN friend list so you can invite your friends on any platform to play with you.

Pirate Emporium Will Also Be Available Via the Official Site

You can also access the Pirate Emporium right on the website allowing you to browse through and buy hundreds of cosmetics for your pirate and ship without having to launch the game.
