Sea of Thieves - How to Return to Your Ship

You can return to your ship if you are stranded at sea by approaching and interacting with a mermaid in Sea of Thieves. Read on to learn how to return to your ship in this guide!

Sea of Thieves - Return to Ship by Interacting with a Mermaid

If you accidentally fall off of your ship while sailing, you can teleport back to it by swimming towards a mermaid holding a flare. Interact with them by pressing the X button (Xbox) or F key (PC) to instantly return back to your ship.

It may take a few seconds before the mermaid appears out in the sea, so keep an eye out for hostile sea creatures like Sharks while swimming.
