Commendations are in-game achievements that indicate the completion of various tasks and reaching certain milestones.
Commendations tied to Trading Companies also grant reputation on completion. Commendations with grades ranging from I to V can give reputation once per grade when achieved. These have cumulative progress, meaning your progress from one grade is carried over to the next grade.
To see the progress of your commendations, simply open the menu and select the Pirate Log tab at the top. Choose one of the categories to see its related commendations as well as the rewards.
