Players cannot play in 3rd Person view in Sea of Thieves. Read on to see what other options you can do to adjust your vision in the game!

Can You Play in 3rd Person?
No 3rd Person View Option
Unfortunately, Sea of Thieves doesn't have an option to change from First Person to Third Person view. You can only play on First Person view even if you change platforms.
Sitting and Emoting are in 3rd Person
You can see your character in 3rd Person view if you sit or emote. These are the only times that you can see your character in 3rd Person POV, and you will immediately go back to 1st Person if you move.
Adjust Field of View to See More
You can adjust the Field of View of your character through the Graphic Settings, allowing you to widen or tighten your vision in-game.
The higher value of Field of View means you can see more, while the lower value means it is tight and lessens the view of your character.
