How to Unlock A Transcendent God
Unlock Condition and Location
This Case File unlocks in Episode 12 once you reach the Akarana Corridor.
Start this quest by using Inspect on the 1990 Section of the Akarana Corridor and meeting Asura.

A Transcendent God Walkthrough
Find Dimensional Rift 199x
Head to the 1990 section of the Akarana Corridor. Make sure you have a demon with the Inspect ability.
Summon the demon and press the Inspect Button near the entrance. You’ll spot a small glint on the ground to your left. Interact with it to uncover Dimensional Rift 199x. Step inside and you’ll meet Asura waiting for you.
Defeat Asura
Once you enter Dimensional Rift 199x, you’ll find Asura waiting for you at the center of the room. Make sure your party is healed and your Combat Skill is prepped before speaking to him, because you won’t get a chance to back out once the fight starts.
It’s a straightforward boss encounter, but you’ll need to come prepared since Asura’s resistances can make this fight drag out if you’re not dealing the right type of damage.
Unlock Asura via Demon Fusion After the Battle
Once you defeat Asura, you’ll unlock the ability to fuse him via Skill Order Fusion in the Goumaden.

How to Beat Asura
Be At Least Level 75 or More
Asura is Level 75, so unless you enjoy pain or wildly overestimating your dodging skills, it’s best to hit at least Level 75 or higher yourself. If you’re underleveled, expect to get clobbered by his high-damage attacks and tanky resistances.
If you don’t feel like grinding the old-fashioned way, you can speed things up by using Grimoires to quickly boost your demons’ levels and stay competitive in this fight.
How to Farm Incense and Grimoires
Bring Demons With Ice and Almighty Skills
Asura is a tanky boss that resists or nullifies most elements in the game. The only safe bets here are Ice and Almighty attacks.
Before the fight, make sure Raidou has the Frost Sign Combat Skill equipped, and bring demons with Ice magic to help you consistently chip away at Asura’s health. Avoid wasting turns on other elements. Focus on staying aggressive since this fight is a straight-up damage race.

Be Careful Of Asura's Stage Wide Attack
Asura has a stage-wide attack that hits everyone on the field. While it’s thankfully easy to dodge if you’re paying attention, it can still deal a chunk of damage if you get caught off guard, especially if you’re underleveled.
When you see him start to charge it up, back off and reposition yourself to avoid getting clipped. Stay mobile, don’t let your guard down, and make sure your demons are healed up in between his big moves.
