Aim and Shoot Enemies

Guns can be used in combat to deal damage, it is especially effective against smaller enemies. By default, you have at least 36 rounds of ammo and can fire between 1 to 6 bullets per shot, depending on the length of time you hold your aim.

Ready Gun PS4 - L2 Button XBOX - Left Trigger NSW - ZL Ctrl Button
Fire Gun PS4 - L2 Button+PS4 - R2 Button XBOX - Left Trigger+XBOX - Right Trigger NSW - ZL+NSW - ZR B Button

Use the Ready Gun command to aim at an enemy. To maximize damage, hold your aim for a few seconds before firing, this allows you to unleash a full volley of 6 bullets at once.

Toggle Lock-On PS4 - R3 Button XBOX - Right Stick Press NSW - Right Analog Click M Button
Change Lock-On Target PS4 - R1 Button XBOX - Right Bumper NSW - R J Button

When aiming your gun, it will automatically lock onto the closest enemy. Be sure to manually switch targets if needed, it's easy to accidentally fire at the wrong enemy if you're not paying attention.

When using your gun in battle, Raidou automatically reloads his gun over time. If you use all 36 rounds, it takes approximately 15 seconds to fully reload your ammo.

Guns Cannot Be Upgraded

Guns cannot be upgraded unlike Swords, Spears, and Axes. Your gun is default and cannot be enhanced through alchemy. Although it cannot be upgraded it is still reliable when attacking enemies from a distance.
