Best Way to Get MAG: Light Attacks
The most efficient way to get MAG is by using light attacks during combat. Unlike heavy attacks, light attacks allow you to steadily recover MAG with each successful hit.
Demon's Basic Attacks Replenish MAG
Your demon's regular attacks help regenerate MAG. However, keep in mind that they may also use active skills on their own, which can drain your MAG unexpectedly.

To conserve MAG, you can disable demon skill use and have them rely on basic attacks. On Xbox/PS5, press left or right on the D-Pad; on PC, press 1 or 2. This lets demons restore MAG through basic attacks without spending any on skills.
Defeat Weaker Enemies
Target weaker enemies in battle to quickly recover MAG without taking much damage. Once your MAG is replenished, you can focus on using skills and sealing against stronger enemies.
Recover Using Summoner Skills
There are multiple Summoner Skills that Raidou can learn to recover MAG. Make sure that you're upgrading your weapons with Sword Alchemy so that you can unlock these skills, along with other useful abilities.

| MAG Drainer | Passive | Restores MAG when connecting the final hit of a heavy sword combo or a charged heavy sword combo. |
| Goddess Lullaby | Passive | Restores MAG over time. |
| Blessing of Mercury | Passive | Reduces demons' MAG consumption. |
| Capricious Miracle | Passive | Provides a chance that demons' attacks will not consume MAG. |
| Blessing of Venus | Passive | Some MAG will be restored when stunning an enemy via striking their weakness. |

Executing Devil’s Bane after a perfect evade or combo not only deals massive damage but also lets you absorb MAG from your target. Use this technique to refill MAG quickly in tough fights.
