The best way to level up quickly is by farming Aril Rifts once it appears in-game. Each rift involves a battle that gives 4x experience and 8x money, making them the most efficient option for both EXP and cash grinding.

Whenever you enter an Aril Rift, there's a chance to encounter a Saki Mitama, who can reward you with EXP items. If you're lucky enough to encounter one, make sure to stun it with Force Skills and Confine it to get a Grimoire.
How to Fuse Saki Mitama: Stats and Skills

Aril Rifts respawn at the start of a Full Moon. To speed this up, simply keep moving, the moon phase advances every 10 seconds while walking. Keep walking around the map until the moon reaches its full phase, and the Aril Rifts will reappear.

You can still earn EXP by defeating regular enemies. Demons respawn in certain areas, especially in the Demon Realm, making it a good spot for standard grinding. Most enemies will reappear after a few minutes, so you can farm EXP at a steady pace.

If you want to farm Demons, it's recommended to do so in the Training Hall. This is because the enemies inside will grant more EXP the deeper you go, and you can easily farm a lot of kills by using Stealth Strikes to defeat them without engaging in combat.
Do note, however, that you do need to be a significantly higher level than the Demon for you to insta-kill them with Stealth Strikes.

You can also earn EXP by completing Case Files or progressing through the main story. Boss fights and demon encounters during the story often reward large amounts of EXP, making them a solid way to level up while advancing the game.

If you don't mind buying DLC packs, it's recommended to get the Kuzunoha Village Trainings DLC. This unlocks the "Kuzunoha Village Trainings: Power" fight, which lets you farm EXP items from Saki Mitamas.
To access this fight, you'll need to unlock the Nameless Shrine, and then you can talk to the Left Fox Statue and select the option to "Earn speciality items at the village".

The Passive Skill EXP Boost grants Demons increased experience earned from battle. This speeds up the levelling process of your allies by a ton, and it's recommended to inherit this skill onto Demons whenever you're training them.

If you're having a hard time killing Demons while farming, you can lower the difficulty level. This doesn't change the amount of EXP or Loyalty earned, and you can always increase the difficulty again once you're done grinding.
