To unlock Devil's Bane, you must progress through the game until you reach the battle with Tsuchigumo in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Read on to learn more about Devil's Bane and how to use it.

How to Use Devil's Bane

Use After Knockout or Perfect Evade

You can activate Devil's Bane after knocking out an enemy with continuous attacks or successfully performing a perfect evade. When either condition is met, a flash of light will appear, signaling that Devil's Bane is ready to use.

Successfully performing Devil's Blade inflicts a large amount of damage to enemies and steal MAG from them.

Devil's Bane Controls

Z Button
Z

To activate Devil's Bane, press the corresponding button combo based on your platform. On Xbox, press X and A. On PlayStation, press Square and X. On PC, simply press Z.

Inspiring Flash and Devil's Ruin

Skill Effect
Inspiring Flash Increases the chance to trigger Devil's Bane out of a dodge or a Devil's Feint.
Devil's Ruin Increases damage dealt by Devil's Bane.

If you want to increase the efficiency of Devil's Ruin, you can learn the Summoner Skills Inspiring Flash and Devil's Ruin. The former will make it easier to perfectly dodge, while the latter increases the damage of the attack.

How to Unlock Devil's Bane

Fight Tsuchigumo in Episode 1

Tsuchigumo

In Episode 1, at the Dark Tsukudo-Cho, you’ll fight Tsuchigumo after reaching the northern part of the area. At the start of the battle, Devil's Bane will automatically unlock.
