There are a total of 20 Aril Rifts that can be found throughout the entire game. Do note that not all of them are accessible right away and will require some story progession to reach.

Aril Rift Rewards
Obtain Rewards from the Left Fox Statue at the Nameless Shrine
Once you've cleared a certain number of Aril Rifts, you can to the Left Fox Statue at the Nameless Shrine to receive some rewards. Depending on the amount of rift cleared, you can get Specialty Items, like Grimoires and Incenses which increase your Demons' Levels and Stats respectively.
Increased EXP and Money
Aside from the rewards that you get from clearing out a certain number of Aril Rifts, the rifts themselves will also net you an increased amount of EXP and Money from defeating the enemies inside. If you need to farm either of these things, then clearing out Aril Rifts is a great way to do so.
How to Respawn Aril Rifts
Change the Moon Cycle to a Full Moon
For an Aril Rift to respawn, you will need to change the Moon Cycle to the start of a Full Moon. You can do this by simply running around until the moon indicator on the screen changes to a Full Moon.
Are There Missable Aril Rifts?
There are No Missable Rifts
There's no need to worry as there are no missable Aril Rifts in this game. These are meant to be a way for players to farm EXP, Money, and Rewards, meaning that none of them can be missable for this to be farmable.

| Purge an Aril Rift.

To get the Local Hero achievement, you will need to clear any Aril Rift. This can be done at any point in the game once you've reached Episode 1, and isn't hard to miss as long as you've been keeping track of their locations.
As for the Vanquisher of Evil trophy, you will need to clear all 20 Aril Rifts at least once. It's recommended to do this as soon as possible so that the rifts enter a new cycle, letting you obtain more rewards from clearing them again.

What Are Aril Rifts?
Optional Challenges with Rewards
Aril Rifts are optional encounters that require you to defeat the enemies inside to be cleared. These are worth doing since you get increased EXP and Money, as well as item rewards for clearing a set amount of rifts.
