How to Beat Ichimokuren

Wait for Ichimokuren to Open its Eye

Ichimokuren Eye Open

Ichimokuren will keep its eye closed during certain parts of the fight, making it immune to all incoming attacks. Only attack when its eye is open, but stay alert since Ichimokuren moves around a lot.

Focus on Any Summoned Enemies While Waiting

Ichimokuren Eye Closed

Ichimokuren will also summon several Turdak while its eye is closed. Focus on these enemies while waiting for its eye to open. You can rely on Jack-o'-Lantern here to quickly take them out!

Watch Your Demons Health

Heal Demons

This battle can get a little lengthy, especially since Ichimokuren spends time idling with its eye closed. Make sure to watch your demons' HP to avoid getting wiped out once its eye opens. If you're out of MAG for Dia, use any consumables you have instead.

Don't forget to heal yourself too if your HP drops too low!

Ichimokuren Volt Sign

You should also have access to Volt Sign before this fight. If you want to stun Ichimokuren yourself, use this skill instead. Just make sure to do it when its eye is open.

Agathion and Jack-o'-Lantern are the best demons to use in this fight. Jack-o'-Lantern can help you deal with any summoned Turdak, while Agathion with Elec Boost should help you stun Ichimokuren once it opens its eye.

You can replace Agathion with Raiju if you meet its level requirement, but you may need to grind a bit if you haven’t reached level 15 yet. Alp is another good option to swap in, especially since Ichimokuren hits hard during its offensive turns.
