Moon Phases can be changed by moving around the map in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Read on to see how to change Moon Phase and learn about its benefits.

How to Change Moon Phase

Changes Every 10 Seconds

The phase of the moon changes every 10 seconds you move on the field. The phases change in order from New Moon to 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, until the Half Moon, and then from 5/8, 6/8, 7/8, until the Full Moon. From there, the order is reversed again until you're back to a New Moon.

The moon phase will not advance if Raidou remains stationary. Time alone does not affect the phase; it only progresses when you are actively moving. To change the moon phase, continue walking or traveling through the field.

Walk Around to Make Aril Rifts Respawn

Certain story events in Raidou Remastered may only trigger during a specific moon phase. Pay attention to the current phase, as it can be a requirement for triggering cutscenes or unlocking paths.

For example, in Episode 2, you’ll need to wait for a Full Moon near the south central exit area of Kurisu-Zaka in order to continue the story.

Certain Case Files require a specific moon phase to progress. The required phase is usually mentioned in the quest, so keep an eye on it if you're stuck. You can cycle moon phases by moving between areas or letting time pass.

Aril Rifts respawn during the full moon. They offer 4x EXP and 8x money, making them best for EXP Farming. Clear them as soon as you find them to maximize rewards.

Walk Around to Make Aril Rifts Respawn

Soda effects last until the next New Moon, so the best time to drink one is right after a New Moon. This way, you’ll maximize the duration and boost Raidou’s stats all the way until the next Full Moon.

Fusion Accdents During Full or New Moon

Devil Chart

There are also Demons that can only be obtained via Fusion Accidents. This can occur once you've unlocked Sword Alchemy during Episode 3, and it is more likely to happen if you're fusing during a Full Moon.
