| Cool Down | Calms people down who are overly excited or otherwise upset, and is used to obtain information by people who are thankful for being calmed down, or to stabilize their emotions to get accurate information. Can also be used to freeze water. |
| Inspect | Uncovers any hidden objects in the immediate area by detecting the electrical influence they have on the demon. |
| Scout | Sends the demon on a scouting mission over the entire map. The demon will report on the other enemies in the area, how many items are left to acquire, and may bring back an item for Raidou. |
| Use Force | Uses the demon's brute strength to move very heavy objects around that are blocking Raidou's path. |
| Read Mind | Enables Raidou to hear what a person is thinking when they're not speaking. Proves useful against those who keep secrets well guarded, or for those who are afraid to speak what's on their mind. |
| Demonstrate | On a randomly determined phase of the moon the demon will perform a demonstration which will have various effects. |
| Allure | Fills the air with pheromones to make people more amorous. Sometimes you may get a reward, sometimes though you'll smell like an old man instead. |
| Scavenger | On a randomly determined phase of the moon you'll receive an item depending on where you are. |
| Loose Change | On a randomly determined phase of the moon you'll receive some Yen depending on where you are. |
| Intimidate | Frightens enemies away, thus lowering the encounter rate. You'll only encounter demons that have an average level higher than Raidou's. |
| Provoke | Makes the enemies more aggressive towards you, thus increasing the encounter rate. |
| Fly | Allows the demon to perform a solo investigation, by flying over terrain that Raidou cannot traverse. Useful when you're at a dead end. |
| Sneak | Small demons can get into spaces Raidou can't. There's usually something stashed in them, or it's a secret passage. Either way, they can reach places you will never get to any other way. |
Investigation Skills are abilities your demons can use outside of battle to help sniff out clues, unlock hidden passages, find rare items, or interact with NPCs and the environment in unique ways.
Different demons come with different Investigation Skills, so you’ll want to swap your squad around depending on the case you’re working or the obstacles in your path.

One of the biggest new features in the remaster is the addition of Summoner Skills, a fresh layer of customization tied directly to Raidou’s weapons. These skills come in two distinct categories: Active Skills and Passive Skills.
Both types of skills are unlocked and enhanced through the remaster’s expanded Sword Alchemy system, encouraging players to experiment with different weapon builds and skill combinations to adapt their strategy on the fly.

Active Skills are abilities that you can equip before battle and even swap out mid-fight, giving you a flexible set of tools to handle different situations.

Passive Skills are abilities that remain active as long as you’re wielding the corresponding weapon.
These provide continuous benefits without any extra input, offering things like increased critical hit rates, elemental resistances, or even passive HP recovery.
