While you don't need a cooking pot, you will still need raw ingredients to make Roasted Food.
To make Roasted Endura Carrot, you need one Endura Carrot.
Roasting food removes all previous effects and only boost the recovered hearts.
While a small handful of dishes can be gotten from Monsters, usually the easiest (and only) way to come by Food is to make it yourself. Depending on the food, the cooking method varies.
"Cooking" a Roasted Endura Carrot is very simple - you just need to drop Endura Carrot near fire, hit it with a Fire Attack weapon or drop it on Mount Eldin.
Once it catches fire, wait for it to change into Roasted Endura Carrot. However, it will burn away completely if it catches fire a second time, so make sure to pick it up immediately!
