Best Missions for Moblin Farming
Leave None Behind
This mission includes four Moblins to defeat within a small map and can be finished in under two minutes.
Another alternative for this mission is Fish Out of Water as it has the same amount of Moblins to defeat, although it may take a longer time to finish as it requires you to navigate between three outposts on a large map.

Fierce Gale of the Rito requires you to play as Revali and defend a stronghold within four minutes. More than ten Moblins will appear on the battlefield, making it one of the fastest ways to farm for Moblin materials in the early game.

How to Beat Moblins
Perform a Weak Point Smash
When against a powerful enemy, wait until they attack and expose their weak-point gauge. Perform combos and abilities to deplete the gauge so you can perform a Weak-Point Smash that deals massive damage.
How to Perform a Weak-Point Smash
Perform Flurry Rushes
The game will instruct you to perform Flurry Rushes as these is the fastest way to defeat a powerful enemy. Attacks from Flurry Rushes will always deplete an enemy's weak-point gauge which can help you out in performing a Weak Point Smash.
Follow Sheikah Rune Prompts
You won't be able to unlock all Sheikah Rune until you clear all Chapter 1 Story Battles. Once you do though, the Rune prompt for Cryonis will appear when a Moblin charges at you. Activate the Rune (L + A) to block off its path and expose its weak-point gauge.
Detonate Explosives
Survey the area to see if you can use anything to help you defeat your enemies! There will be a barrel of explosive near the Southernmost Moblin. Detenoate using Link's bow and arrows (ZR button) or the Remote Bomb rune on the Sheikah Slate.
