This is a guide to performing a Weak-Point Smash in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (HW:AoC) for the Nintendo Switch. Learn how to deplete the weak point gauge and perform a Weak-Point Smash on a strong enemy below!
List of Contents
At some point after attacking, strong enemies will eventually expose their Weak-Point Gauge. The gauge will start to deplete as you attack the enemy, more quickly when using strong attacks and combos.
Take note that only strong enemies have Weak-Point Gauges and it will be easier to break it by locking on to the enemy.
Once the Weak-Point Gauge is fully depleted, you can now perform a Weak-Point Smash. Approach the enemy and press X when the prompt appears to execute an attack that will deal insane damage!
Be sure to fully utilize this mechanic when you are having trouble defeating a powerful enemy with a large health pool.
