This is a guide on how to save in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Read on to learn more about the game's Auto-Save feature, as well as how to save manually!
List of Contents
Age of Calamity has an auto-save feature that will happen whenever you complete battles, as well as after changing certain options, so you do not need to go out of your way to save after them. It will not auto-save after quests, purchasing items, or upgrading weapons, however, so be careful not to lose your progress!
Whenever you see the sword icon at the bottom right of the screen with the word Saving... above it, the game is automatically saving the data for you.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity also has a manual save feature. This can be accessed by pressing - from the map to open the System Menu and selecting Save. Note that manual saving is only possible from the Hyrule Map screen, and cannot be accessed during battle (saving mid-battle is impossible).
If you have completed quests, purchased items from a shop, or used the Hylian Blacksmith, and you want to end your progress afterward, be sure and save if you want to keep your purchases!
