I followed this advice, but used +35% material drop total and used revali’s wide range attack while in the air. Played the round for 30 minutes total, got over 800 bananas.
2/2 I started the mission with a Cooking Effect that added +15% Material Drop rate, played as a level 65 Urbosa. I had 1,000 KOs by the time I reached that objective. I stayed at that objective and did not complete it until I was at 2,500 KOs. I then completed the mission, ending with around 3,000 KOs. This yielded 489 mighty bananas. Once you have the side mission The Master Chef, you can exchange 100 bananas for 1,000 rupees.
Once you’ve gotten to Gerudo Desert, the main story mission is where you want to go. There is an objective to KO 50 Yiga with a remote bomb to draw out a Molduga. This is where it gets fun. KO with regular attacks (NO REMOTE BOMBS). The game will spawn Yiga endlessly until the objective is met. This is not a timed mission. 1/2
Also, any mission where Yiga clan are the enemies will yield mighty bananas as even the most basic Yiga enemy will drop them.
Selling them for 5 rupees a piece is a waste when in the late game they can be exchanged by 100 for 1,000 rupees, or 10 each.
