There are two things you need before you can start The Search for Barta side quest:
|
Objectives | Guide | |
---|---|---|
1 | Enlarge Talk to Liana |
First, head over to the Gerudo Town Barracks and talk to Liana, who will ask you to locate Barta. |
2 | Enlarge Get a Hearty Durian |
You're all set to head out if you have a Hearty Durian on you already, but if not you will want to buy one at Market in Gerudo Town. |
3 | Enlarge Head to the Great Skeleton |
To find Barta, who went looking for Leviathan bones, you will need to go to the Gerudo Great Skeleton found to the southwest of Gerudo Town. You can Teleport to the Kawa Koth Shrine there if you have it unlocked, or you can use a Sand Seal to get there. |

4 | Enlarge Give Barta a Hearty Durian |
Barta will be in front of the head of the Skeleton, weakened. She asks you for a Hearty Durian, so give her the one you prepared and she will find the strength to return to town. |
5 | Enlarge Go back to Liana |
To complete the quest and get your reward, 100 Rupees, you need to report back to Liana at the Barracks. |

Delivering the Hearty Durian to Barta and reporting back to her superior will earn you a Silver Rupee, which is worth 100 Rupees.

Quest Start | Barta has disappeared again. She headed south in search of leviathan bones but never came back. Not only is the area home to Molduga, but it's also known for extreme heat. You'll need special gear, or you'll be in danger. Use your map to search for Barta. |
1st Update | You found Barta collapsed in the desert. She just keeps muttering, "A hearty durian, a hearty durian," over and over again, deliriously. ...Seems like she really wants to eat a hearty durian. |
2nd Update | You fed Barta a heary durian after finding her collapsed in the desert. She seemed much better, but once you told her of Liana's anger, she dashed off back to Gerudo Town. Just in case, you should let Liana know that Barta is OK. |
Quest Clear | Barta seems to have made it back to Gerudo Town in one piece. But it sounds like Liana really chewed Barta out for making her worry. Maybe she'll lay low for a little while. |
