Using the Bow allows players to switch between two stances that shoot different types of arrows. Haya stance allows you to fire a horizontal shot against your enemies and has a faster rate between the two. Haya arrows will also remain on a Kemono on hit.
Otoya Stance has a slower fire rate but deals more damage than Haya arrows and can be charged to two levels for maximum damage output. When Otoya arrows are fired on Haya arrows stuck on a Kemono, these cause it to explode, dealing extra damage.
When using the Bow, learning which stance you should use in certain situations can make a huge difference when you're out hunting Kemonos.
Finding the right balance between stances will allow you to make use of the tools you're given and inevitably allow you to dish massive damage output while avoiding getting attacked.
Use Haya Stance if you're being targeted by a Kemono or when you want to move yourself to a better position. This will allow you to build up stacks of Haya arrows on the Kemono you're hunting as you move to a safer position.
Once you're in a comfortable spot, switch to Otoya stance and hit them with a Resonant: Otoya to proc all the Haya arrows and deal massive damage against that Kemono.
Use Otoya stance when you're in a comfortable position or if the Kemono you're fighting is kept busy by other hunters. This will allow you to freely deal as much damage as possible without getting interrupted since you are stationary most of the time when charging up your attacks or applying Bolstering shots.
