Getting Started in Wild Hearts

Time Dodges

Dodging is the most essential component of any boss fight in Wild Hearts. Any attack from a Kemono will do massive damage so it's best to avoid them. There are two ways to dodge attacks, Dodge Roll and Sliding, where rolling covers much less distance than sliding.

Heal at the Right Time

Wild Hearts - Healing

Healing Water in the open world is there for the players to harvest to heal themselves. Try to heal immediately after taking big attacks as giant Kemono tend to not follow up attacks when landing them.

How to Heal and Recover HP

Use Karakuri

As Wild Heart's main mechanic, players should use Karakuri to block attacks from giant Kemono. Players can also make a tower of blocks to jump from and land devastating aerial attacks. The Spring Karakuri

Keep in mind that while Karakuri threads are common, players can only hold up to 12 at a time. Make sure to maximize Karakuri threads in between fights so you don't find yourself without any materials to build.

How to Use Karakuri

Prioritize Camp Setups

Maximize the use of your camp by placing them in strategic locations near your target. Make sure you load up on items, heal up, and upgrade your weapons before setting out on a hunt.
