Talismans can be equipped to give you powerful skills and weapon modifiers in Wild Hearts. Read on to learn more about how to farm talismans for your build including the different methods of getting talismans once you hit endgame.
Talisman Farming Methods |

Talismans can drop from both Normal and Mighty Kemono so farming them will be a viable strategy for getting a few usable ones for your build. However, do note that the drops vary per kemono meaning players will need to target different hunts if they want certain skills for their talismans.
Note: The values attached to talisman skills do not really vary depending on the hunt's difficulty (normal vs. mighty). This means that you're better off farming Normals and Mighties over the Volatile variants you find during Chapter 5.
Visitor requests from other players in your Minato will reward players with talismans that have a high chance of rolling a weapon-related skill. Target this type of hunt in order to acquire a talisman that has a skill which modifies your build's weapon.
Since Visitor Requests are limited per day, you can keep re-doing a particular request by Returning to Your Minato at the end of the hunt. Instead of waiting for the countdown to end, open the Menu and select the option to return to your Minato. This ends the session, allowing you to speak to the same visitor in your Minato to redo the hunt for another talisman roll.
Like Visitor Requests, Deeply Volatile Kemono hunts guarantee a talisman drop upon completion. However, do note that these hunts will be much more difficult. With only one life to play with and a 20-minute time limit, Deeply Volatile hunts should be your last resort when farming talismans simply due to the risk vs. reward factor.
Alternatively, players can seek out the different Relic Talismans that spawn across all the regions of Azuma. They will be found in hard-to-reach or hidden locations, taking the form of a sheathed katana that you can collect. Relic Talismans will have fixed perks, allowing players to default to them if they have yet to find the right talisman for their current build.
Talismans can be equipped by interacting with a Forge (dragon karakuri) or by talking to Natusme in Minato. Select the Change Equipment option and click the equipment slot underneath your weapon to begin picking out talismans.
Only a maximum of 5 talismans can be equipped at any given time. Keep this in mind, especially when stacking low-cost talismans for your build. Once you hit a total of 5, you will no longer be able to pick any more even if you are well below the total cost limit.
Do note that each talisman will have a cost to equip attached to them. When equipping talismans, your total cost should be less or equal to 50, otherwise you will not be able to equip any more talismans.
As an example, some talismans like Pious Cross: Rosary, will cost 40 to equip. This means, you only have 10 points left, often bringing your total equipped talismans to 3 instead of 5.
Talismans are a special type of equipment that players can use for their builds, granting them extra offensive and defensive skills to use during hunts. On top of this, certain talismans also grant weapon-specific skills that make aspects of your weapon's kit that much more effective.
