Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Manifestation Release ・Savage ・Health Boost |
Build Merits | The apex build for the Karakuri Katana bolsters with a lot of huge damage boosts at the expense of utility and survivability. The most important skill in this build is Manifestation Release which adds a huge percentage of damage boost at the expense of faster weapon gauge depletion; this is a worthy trade as it boosts all Katana attacks by 64% or more. The Stock Slash skill mitigates the downside of Manifestation Release by 10%, allowing the unbound form to stay longer. Desperation greatly improves attacks at the expense of receiving more damage, a small percentage is a worthy trade but seasoned players can take this skill at higher percentages. The armor equipped will focus on adequate boosts on survivability and damage as well as combat utility. Deaf Ears and Sprint Master are the most important skills to get by upgrading the armor to a Pure Kemono-Path as it allows you to stay longer in combat. To finalize the build, we highly recommend equipping talismans that boost damage and existing skills in the build like Manifestation Release and Savage; while we recommend equipping talisman skills that boost survivability like Health Boost to mitigate the downside of the Desperation skill. |

Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Fog Fall ・Karakuri Coordination: Fury ・Destruction Art |
Build Merits | This build provides the perfect set of gear and skills for the first fight against Amaterasu and remains optimal against Mighty Kemono in Harugasumi way. The Sasanqua Blade is a highly recommended weapon for this fight as it is by far the highest damage dealing Katana with a Wind attribute at this point of the game. The Great Juniper armor set offers high resistance to Wood attribute and recovery from Entanglement. Furthermore, with the armor set's skills like Health Boost, Nostrum Water, and Fusion Master, it greatly adds to survivability and karakuri utility during hunts. To utilize other skills in this build, we recommend equipping talismans with skills like Fog Fall, Karakuri Coordination: Fury, and Destruction Art to further enhance damage ourput. |

Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Savage ・Flame Wielder ・Strong-Arm |
Build Merits | This build provides a perfect gear set against Deathstalker and is an adequate go-to build for mid game duration. This is built on high raw and elemental damage from the Ember Blade and its inherited skill Speed Blade Boost: Fury which boosts all attacks from the Karakuri Katana. The Bandit Armor set provides high resistances to Fire and Water which also comes with Freezing Recovery skills that work perfectly against Deathstalker and Icetusk. Furthermore, the Resurrection skill from the Bandit Uwagi adds more survivabilty on top of high resistance. To add to the build, we recommend equipping talismans with skills such as Savage, Flame Wielder, or Strong-Arm skills that can boosts damage to utilize the Grab Master skill. |

Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Final Blow ・Savage ・Destruction Art |
Build Merits | This build provides a strong gear set for dealing with all Kemonos inhabiting Akikure Canyon and in preparation against some Kemonos inhabiting Fuyufusagi Fort. Despite its 20% negative crit rate, the build relies on high raw damage from the Yashima Katana and its inherited skill Destruction Art which allows the player to break parts faster and ultimately making the Kemono weaker. The Veteran Armor set provides high resistances to Wood, Wind, and Earth Attributes and comes with Anti-ailment skills that work perfectly against Fumebeak and Sporetail. To round up the build, we recommend equipping talismans with skills such as Final Blow, Savage, Destruction Art, or any skill that boosts the Yashima Katana's high raw damage. |

Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Health Boost ・Fire Resilience ・Destruction Art |
Build Merits | This build provides players with a solid gear set in preparation against the Lavaback while remaining effective on most kemono on Natsukodachi Isle. Even if the Twilight Flashblade does not have an assigned element and element power, what makes this weapon shine is its Poision Wielder skill which is a great to have when using a fast-attacking weapon like the Karakuri Katana. The combination of the Grithide set along with the Roaming Bard Tekko that leans to the Kemono-Path provides a total of 23 Fire Resistance and 21 Earth Resistance, even if other attribute resistances drop to 0, the Resurrection skill can cover for survivability. To finalize the build, we highly recommend using talismans with skills like Health Boost,Fire Resilience, and Destruction Art for a balanced boost of defense and offense. |

Recommended Talisman Skills | ・Health Boost ・Ironclad ・Destruction Art |
Build Merits | This build focuses on giving players a strong set of gear for dealing with the Wood-based kemono in Harugasumi Way while still remaining effective against the Spineglider, Gritdog, and Dreadclaw in Natsukodachi Isle. The Intoxicating Birch Blade 3 offers adequate neutral damage while also providing extra damage potential if the Savage and Critical Master skills are inherited from previous upgrades. The Basara Armor Set, obtained from the Kingtusk, provides adequate defense points and resistances for dealing with the first kemonos encountered in Harugasumi Way and Natsukodachi Isle, and also offers plenty of survivability skills like Strong Arm: Remedy and Strong Arm: Thread. To finalize the build we recommend equipping talismans with skills such as Health Boost, Ironclad, and Destruction Art for more defense and part break opportunities. |
