To get the maximum amount of karakrui threads (24), players will need to collect all 200 Tsukumo found across Azuma. Once collected, use the Old Cogs they give you to upgrade your Tsukumo to max.

Construct Celestial Tsukumo Camps

Celestial Tsukumo Camps are a type of dragon karakuri that players can construct in order to temporarily increase the amount of threads they have past the max cap. This is particularly useful if your build requires heavy usage of karakuri fusions.

Note: Only the host can use Celestial Tsukumo Camps during co-op hunts. This means that if you want to get these extra threads before starting a hunt, you will need to be the host of the game session.

What is the Max Thread Count?

Karakuri Thread Maxes Out at 24

Your karakuri thread count will max out at 24 threads once your Tsukumo reaches its maximum possible level. Players will not be able to increase the count past this cap due to the limited number of Tsukumo available on the map.

Again, to temporarily increase your karakuri thread to 48 threads (once you reach 24 threads), you will need to build and collect celestial thread from Celestial Tsukumo Camp dragon karakuris.
