How to Use Modification Materials

Used at a Forge to Give Armor Human or Kemono Modifications

Wild Hearts - Roaming Bard Body Armor

Modification Materials are used to upgrade your currently owned armor sets, giving them human-path or kemono-path traits. These traits modify your armor's stats and listed skills, allowing you to better prepare against Kemono that wield elemental attacks later in the game.

Human-path upgrades provide you with more resistance, allowing you to weather attacks at higher-level hunts. Kemono-path upgrades, however, give much better skills. This allows you to be much more offensive at the cost of base stat survivability.
