Wild Hearts - How to Play Co-Op
Hunting Kemono in Wild Hearts can be hard when playing solo. Read on to learn the ways to access co-op, if Wild Hearts has crossplay, and how many players can join a team.

How to Play Co-Op

Use the Campfire to Create or Join Sessions

Wild Hearts - Campfire

When seeking help from friends or strangers, players can opt to create or join sessions via the Campfire dragon karakuri. Unlike other types of co-op, this method includes story progression for all involved.

If you find yourself needing help to beat the Lavaback, Deathstalker, Amaterasu, or Golden Tempest for the first time, simply sit by a campfire and select Play Online > Search Sessions. Under Party Tag, select the kemono you need to hunt to filter sessions that are in the same story point as yourself.

Play With Friends via Private Lobbies

Wild Hearts - Create Session
To play with friends, it is best to enable a password on each session so that random players cannot join. Keep in mind that each party can only contain up to 3 members.

Enter the Hunters' Gates

Wild Hearts - Hunters
Hunters' Gates are open lobbies that can be found in the open world. Depending on the location, players will be able to play co-op and do missions with players in the same area.

Players will be able to jump in a session at any point of the hunt except for when the Kemono is dead.
