The Nodachi is a powerful weapon in the hands of a patient and capable player. When wielded, the player can access the Iai Stance. The skill enables you to adopt a focused stance, which results to a number of powerful attacks when timed perfectly in its release and execution.

The Valor Gauge of the Nodachi fills up by either holding the Iai Stance until the gauge fills up or attacking an enemy after performing the stance. By filling up the gauge of the Nodachi up to the brim, you unleash a devastating attack called Iai: Bisection that slashes the air with red energy and cuts open the ground in front of you.
