Titan Quest 2 - All Attributes Explained

Attributes in Titan Quest 2 are divided into Core and Secondary Attributes, both of which directly influence how characters and builds turn out. See more details about Attributes, as well as tips on what Attribute to prioritize here!

All Attributes Explained

Attributes by Type
Core Attributes Secondary Attributes

Core Attributes

Attribute Explanation
Might IconMight Might is one of the Core Attributes, and it directly affects your character's ability to wield Heavy and Ornate Armor, as well as heavy weapons like Two-Handed Axes or Heavy Spears.
Agility IconAgility Agility is another Core Attribute that affects how well your character uses Light or Medium Armor, alongside fast weapons such as Daggers and Swords.
Knowledge IconKnowledge Knowledge is the Core Attribute that governs your character's affinity for magical weapons, such as Staves and Cudgels, as well as magical armor like Plated Robes and Magos pieces.
Vigor IconVigor Vigor is a Unique Attribute that can be levelled like the other three. When you put a point into Vigor, it increases the 3 Secondary Attribtutes, and increases your Base HP, but no other stats.

Core Attributes are the four stats that you can directly increase by using Attribute Points gained from levelling-up. They play a large part in shaping how your character and your build will turn out.

Secondary Attributes

Attribute Explanation
Fitness IconFitness Fitness is the Secondary Attribute that scaless off of Might and Agility. This stat increases the amount of Pierce and Strike damage your character does.
Cunning IconCunning Cunning scales off of Agility and Knowledge, and is tied to your character's affinity for Poison and Lightining damage.
Resolve IconResolve Resolve is the last of the three Secondary Attributes, and increases with your Knowledge and Might. This stat increases your Fire and Cold damage.

Secondary Attributes are the three other stats that you cannot directly increase with Attribute Points, but instead scale off of two of Core Attributes combined.

Attribute Prioritization Tips

Tips for Levelling Your Attributes

Increase Attributes Based on Your Build

Attribute Screen

The best way to determine what Attributes to focus on is to examine what your build needs, and level accordingly. For example, a fire-based build would want to level both Knowledge and Might to increase their Resolve stat.

Attributes Affect What Gear You Equip

Equipment Interface

In a similar vein, you will also need to allocate your Attribute Points to meet requirements for better Armor and Weapons. If you obtain a piece of gear that works very well for your build, consider pushing points to reach its Attribute requirement.

Reset Attributes at a Shrine If Needed

Shrine and Rituals

If you find that your current Attribute setup isn't working, you can always head to a Shrine and undergo the Rite of Athena for a large sum of gold. This will reset your Attribute Points, allowing you to start from a clean slate.
